East Bengal Women FC have etched their name into history as the new SAFF Club Women’s Champions 2025, powered by a sensational Ugandan trio whose brilliance lit up the tournament Fazila Ikwaput, Resty Naziri and Aminah Nabaabi.

At the heart of East Bengal’s unforgettable campaign was Fazila Ikwaput, who delivered a performance for the ages. The prolific striker finished the tournament as top scorer and Most Valuable Player (MVP), netting an astonishing nine goals and providing three assists.
Her lethal finishing, movement, and leadership in attack made her the most feared forward of the competition and the driving force behind East Bengal’s title triumph.

Pulling the strings from midfield was Resty Nanziri, who brought her trademark magic and intelligence to every match.
With two goals and two assists, Nanziri controlled the tempo with pinpoint passing, vision, and relentless work rate. Her ability to unlock defenses and link play seamlessly proved vital as East Bengal dominated opponents game after game.
