During the off season break, our client Phionah Nabulime took time off to visit the Divine Soccer Academy, a place that nurtured her right from the time she was aged nine.

During the visit Phionah shared a message of hope and love and encouraged all the players to work hard at their academics and co-curricular activities like football that may of the children are actively involved in at the academy.

In the heart of Masaka, at Devine Soccer Academy where she first laced up her boots at the age of 7, Nabulime took time during her off season to give back to the very grounds where her football journey began. From age 7 to 18, the academy molded her raw talent into the national team caliber defender she became and now, she’s paying it forward.

“This place gave me everything discipline, purpose, and a dream,” Nabulime shared. “It’s only right that I come back to encourage those coming after me.”
Nabulime didn’t come empty-handed. She donated vital training equipment, including balls, cones, bibs, and goalkeeper gloves, while also delivering motivational talks to the young girls currently training at the academy.

Phionah is currently featuring for FC Masar in Egypt were her club won the 2024/2025 season and is now preparing for the start of the 2025/2026 season and also the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifies.

All of us at Sepuya Inc Agency wish Phionah the very best of luck and are appreciate for going all the way to visit and inspire another generation of players.

The session wasn’t just about drills and defending it was about life. Nabulime spoke openly about the challenges of being a woman in sport, the importance of education, and the discipline required to succeed professionally, especially in international football.

“These girls need to know it’s possible,” she said. “That they too can wear national colors, play abroad, and live their dream starting right here in Masaka.”
Devine Soccer Academy’s head coach praised Nabulime’s gesture, calling it a full circle moment and a beacon of hope for the next generation.

As Uganda continues to produce top tier football talent, stories like Nabulime’s are proof of how grassroots football with the right mentorship and investment can transform lives and build futures.
