Hibernians Women FC continued their fine form in the Assikura Women’s League 2025/26, producing a commanding 7–0 victory over Valletta and once again, Sylvia Kabene was right at the heart of the action.

Kabene’s superb 76th minute finish sealed the statement win and kept her firmly in the race for the Golden Boot.
Her sharpness, positioning, and confidence in front of goal have made her one of the standout forwards this season. The goals came thick and fast with Leah Alice Ayres opened the scoring as early as the 6th minute. Later on Zambia player Chisha Racheal Misozi Zulu doubled the lead. Leah Alice Ayres striked again to earn her brace making it 3-0.

Just before half time, Calista Bonnie Schechinger and Suzanne Farrugia scored a goal each and the scores stayed at 5-0 at half time. Chisha Racheal Misozi Zulu also earned her brace with her second goal of the day in the 68th minute.

In the 76th minute, Sylvia Kabene added her name to the scoresheet to cap a dominant team display.
With this emphatic victory, Hibernians Womens FC extend their strong start and send a clear message to the rest of the league: they mean business. As for Kabene, her consistency, work rate, and killer instinct keep her in hurt for more goals in games to come.
